Cabaret Sauvignon 29/01/16

It’s cabaret time at The Brudenell Social Club so put on your glad rags and come and discover a hidden World of gems beyond your wildest imagination!

The line up includes:
Chip Pan’s People: returning to The Brudenell stage after 20 years, they are back! They bring their fiery take on the World of music, be prepared to have your comical taste buds tickled, tantalised and possibly a lit bit traumatised!

Captain Of The Lost Waves: “…a music box of tales, unsolved mysteries & hidden gems via the Captains journey through time…”

Ronald Arthur Dewhirst: Known as the avant-gardner of poetry, Ronald takes a wry, dry and kaleidoscopic look at life

The Indecision: 7 piece uplifting ska and rocksteady band to get you on your feet “One of the best new UK bands about.”
The London International Ska Festival

Trevor Organ: The Sultan of Spin, he’s the master of comedy plate spinning, although it could get messy (it depends what’s on his plates!)

Son Of A Psychic Nun: Is there nothing this man does not know? He’ll be attempting to crawl inside the deepest recesses of our minds

Auntie Doris: Born 1914, Died 1995, entertaining since 2013. Comedy clairvoyancy and suchlike capers from deceased Doris!

Your host for the evening is Cabaret Chris, our all round entertainer who’s very fond of 1980s synth music!

It’s another emergency fundraiser for Cloth Cat, and we wanted to say thanks to all the acts who are performing and supporting Cloth Cat. Also to everyone who’s helping organise and to those who have donated raffle prizes.

Please come down for a night you’re probably unlikely to forget….ever!!

Doors open at 7.30pm and the cabaret starts at 8.00pm. It’s £5.00 in on the door. Under 18s are allowed in accompanied by an adult but just to let you know that the cabaret is adult orientated.

Hope to see you there!

Save The Cat

I know people have been asking so we now have a donations page up with MyDonate who, unlike many other fundraising sites, don’t take any commission etc apart from a 15p transaction fee. We’re trying to raise £5000 to keep us going for the next 6 months while we try and get some investment from a funder or two who can give us the capacity to make us properly sustainable. Please support us if you can, our Emergency Appeal page is at
Many thanks everyone for your kind words and help, you can’t imagine how much it means.

New website!

Welcome to our new website!  It’s going to be a bit of a work-in-progress for the next week or two, so please bear with us.  If there’s any information you need and can’t find, please contact Mike who will be able to help.
